Today Sarah was scheduled to take engagement pictures for Jeff Johnson and his fiancee. So our whole family went to their house and ate dinner with their family. While Sarah and the couple were taking pictures, Brother Johnson and I stayed back and watched the kids. Brother Johnson asked me how the high council was, and we spoke about that for a short time. At some point he mentioned how things have changed a lot in the church, even since he was a branch president. I took that opportunity as similar to the recent scout camp, and immediately asked him some follow up questions, including what he would do differently, knowing what he knows now. He thought for a while, and then said he would have focused more on helping individual people, as opposed to running programs and worrying about other things. That was really the only thing he thought he would do differently. I was grateful for the repeated opportunity to get some guidance, as I felt the spirit again begin to whisper that my dream was more than just a dream.
