When we had our back to school feast with the kids, we talked to them about building their foundation on a rock, and not being afraid. It seems that some people are afraid, and some families are in the brunt of the pandemic, but we continue to feel blessed and are grateful for the time we are able to spend with our family.
This weekend I played pickleball with some guys from church, which I have been doing for a few weeks now. I also went to the food pantry with Jackson and Parker. Then Sarah and I did yard work and power washed the house. Then I took a nap. Then I went out and got food for everyone from a really good Italian restaurant and came home and we had takeout dinner outside.
Just and example of what a perfect day feels like in the perfect family.
