This winter, Parker decided to try wrestling.
This was a surprise to Sarah and me. He just kind of came home one day and said, “I’m on the wrestling team.” It kind of reminded me of how I told my parents I was pole vaulting in high school.
He’s basically destroyed everyone he’s wrestled against at meets. But after a few meets decided wrestling wasn’t for him and he was going to turn in his equipment. We had him email the coach to formally thank him and put an end to his wrestling career.
I’m so proud of Parker for always wanting to try new things and develop as a person.
