Today we went to a blacksmith shop in Pigeon Forge and made knives out of horse shoes. This was something that I really wanted to do because of watching “Forged in Fire” so much. When Sarah saw that there was a place to do this in Pigeon Forge, she immediately showed me and said we could sign up.
Today I was so grateful to Sarah for making this happen. It made me really happy to be able to do something I’ve always wanted to do, even if it seemed like a silly mid-life crisis type of thing. But I had talked about it a whole lot and it made me totally happy and excited to be able to do it.
