We were able to spend a couple days in Savannah on our way to Hilton Head this week. I especially enjoyed just being able to watch our three kids with Sarah.
I have so much fun when Sarah and I can just watch our kids be kids. It’s very rewarding for me to look at the three of them and think, “We made those.”
At one point, Elly was trying to get on this tree branch, and Sarah and I were walking up to them, and Elly fell off. Sarah and I laughed so much because it was so funny to see her fall off (it wasn’t from very high). But then Parker helped her get back on, which was sweet. Being able to watch that and laugh and then be proud alongside Sarah made it that much better.
